Setting the Trump Suit
The player with the highest declared target sets the trump suit — their suit becomes the Truf for that round.
Tiebreakers (in order)
1stTruf declarers always beat a No Truf declarer at the same target.
2ndAmong truf declarers: suit order ♠ > ♥ > ♣ > ♦.
2nd (No Truf tie)Highest single card value among their two cards wins; if still tied, suit order of that card.
No Truf Round
If a No Truf declarer wins the bid, the round is played with no trump suit. Cards are ranked purely by face value — the lead suit wins over off-suit cards, and higher rank wins within the same suit.
Trump in Play
The trump winner leads the first trick. During play, if you can't follow the lead suit, you may play any card — including a trump. Highest trump beats highest lead-suit card.
